Altar Guild

 The altar guild operates as a part of the worship committee under the student pillar. Volunteers are responsible for the physical preparation of the sacraments of communion and baptism. Those who serve in this ministry also set up the advent wreath and coordinate the flowers for Sunday worship and baptisms.

Altar Flowers

The Hope Church family may order altar flowers in memory or in honor of loved ones or for a special occasion.

The cost of the flowers is $20 per arrangement (please only one arrangement per week). Your check should be made payable to Hope UMC with a notation on the memo line for "Altar Flowers" and the date(s) requested.

The flower choice will be made by the florist with season, availability, and freshness in mind. The flowers may be picked up after the third worship service or they may be left to be given to shut-ins, nursing home residents, or to hospitalized persons.
