Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care is made up of several distinct ministries that work in cooperation with one another to provide the most comprehensive care possible to members of our congregation.

Visitation Team

The visitation team is comprised of both pastors and laity. Visitations may be made on a one-time basis either in a home or hospital prior to or after a surgery or illness. Visitations may also be made on a regular basis to assisted living facilities, nursing homes and to those who are home bound. To volunteer to serve in this ministry, visit the Connection Center.

Receiving Care

If you or a family member are ill, facing surgery or are no longer independent and mobile please let us know so we can visit and pray with you. You may inform the Visitation Team of your circumstance by filling out the tear-off form in the Sunday Bulletin and placing it in the offering plate or dropping it off at the Connection Center. If there is a medical crisis or emergency please call the church office at 372-4689. If no one is available to answer your call, please follow the directions on the recorded message for a medical crisis. This emergency extension will then automatically page a designated pastoral responder who will respond to you quickly. If the church office is open and the phone is staffed by an office volunteer, they can connect you with the designated pastoral responder.
