What should I wear?
At Hope, our approach is pretty casual. We expect you to "come as you are". We don't have a dress code, so dont feel the need for a suit and a tie - jeans, slacks, even shorts are fine.
What is worship like?
Our 8:15 Traditional service uses some familiar expressions of worship, but in a relaxed atmosphere. Hymns, creeds, and the like are what we practice - what many who grew up in the church would be familiar with.
Our 9:30 and 11:00 Contemporary services include music that you would hear locally on the Joy FM. We sing between 3-4 songs, with a Children's sermon, prayer, message and offering in a comfortable setting. After the first 2 songs, we have a Children's time and then they are welcome to either stay in worhsip or join with other children in a safe, fun time in our Children's area.
Childcare is available for the 9:30am & 11am worship services. The message is Biblical and applicable to daily life and is the same at each service.
What time should I arrive?
If it is your first time you may want to arrive about 5 to 10 minutes early. Greeters will be stationed near the entrances who can answer any of your questions, help you find classrooms for the kids, or assist you in finding a seat in the sanctuary.
Do I need to be a church member to partake in the Lord’s Supper?
Not at all. We recognize the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of every month. If you visit during one of these services we invite you to partake in the Lord’s Supper.
How do I get more information about Hope after my visit?
Be sure to stop by our Connection Center and pick up a visitor bag, complete with information on the ministries we offer. Also, be sure to fill out teh Information Card during the service and drop it in the offering basket, so we can contact you.
What if I have been visiting for a while and would like to join?
We recognize that finding a local church is a process and can take some time. If God is leading you to join with our church family, we ask that you cotact the church office (727-372-4689) and sign up for the next Membership meeting (about every other month).
We look forward to your visit!
